A little ramble about me

Hi everyone! I’m Daz, a 23-year-old artist based in Sydney, Australia, and I’ve been passionate about drawing for as long as I can remember. From ages 5 to 16, I attended art school, where I focused on developing technical skills, particularly in realism and portraiture.

After high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, so on a whim, I put together a portfolio and followed my best friend into an Animation degree at the University of Technology, Sydney. While animation itself didn’t capture my interest, the program helped me grow as an artist, pushing me out of my comfort zone. I went from drawing portraits of my celebrity crushes to creating funky character designs and thinking creatively in ways I hadn’t before.

After graduating, I felt a bit lost—like many of us—and spent way too much time on TikTok. That’s when I stumbled across videos of people painting with bleach. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try and ended up making a Christmas present for my partner that turned out surprisingly well. That experience sparked a love for this unique medium, and now I’m dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind designs, bringing both my ideas and yours to life!
